மதுரை – ராமேஸ்வரம் இடையே மேலும் ஒரு முன்பதிவில்லாத சிறப்பு ரயில்ராமேஸ்வரம் – மதுரை, கொல்லம் – புனலூர், கன்னியாகுமரி – ராமேஸ்வரம் ஆகிய ரயில் நிலையங்களுக்கு இடையே ரயில் சேவையை அதிகரிக்க தெற்கு ரயில்வே ஏற்பாடு செய்துள்ளது.1. ராமேஸ்வரம் – மதுரை – ராமேஸ்வரம் முன்பதிவில்லாத சிறப்பு ரயில்கள் ஜூன் 22 முதல் இயக்கப்பட இருக்கிறது. இதன் மூலம் இந்த பகுதியில் மூன்று ஜோடி முன்பதிவில்லாத ரயில் இயக்கப்படுகிறது. அதன்படி ராமேஸ்வரம் – மதுரை முன்பதிவில்லாத சிறப்பு ரயில் (06652) ராமேஸ்வரத்திலிருந்து காலை 11.00 மணிக்கு புறப்பட்டு மதியம் 02.40 மணிக்கு மதுரை வந்து சேரும். மறுமார்க்கத்தில் மதுரை – ராமேஸ்வரம் முன்பதிவில்லாத சிறப்பு ரயில் (06653) மதுரையிலிருந்து மதியம் 12.30 மணிக்கு புறப்பட்டு மாலை 04.10 மணிக்கு ராமேஸ்வரம் சென்று சேரும் இந்த ரயில்கள் பாம்பன், மண்டபம், மண்டபம் கேம்ப், உச்சிப்புளி, வாலாந்தரவை, ராமநாதபுரம், சத்திரக்குடி, பரமக்குடி, சூடியூர், மானாமதுரை, ராஜகம்பீரம், திருப்பாச்சேத்தி, திருப்புவனம், சிலைமான், கீழ் மதுரை ஆகிய ரயில் நிலையங்களில் நின்று செல்லும். இந்த ரயில்களில் 9 இரண்டாம் வகுப்புப் பெட்டிகள், 2 இரண்டாம் வகுப்பு மற்றும் சரக்கு பெட்டிகள் இணைக்கப்படும்.2. ராமேஸ்வரம் – கன்னியாகுமரி – ராமேஸ்வரம் வாரம் மும்முறை சேவை அதிவிரைவு ரயில்கள் ராமேஸ்வரத்தில் இருந்து ஜூன் 27 முதலும் கன்னியாகுமரியில் இருந்து ஜூன் 28 முதலும் இயக்கப்பட இருக்கிறது. அதன்படி ராமேஸ்வரம் – கன்னியாகுமரி வாரம் மும்முறை சேவை அதிவிரைவு ரயில் (22621) ராமேஸ்வரத்திலிருந்து திங்கள், புதன் மற்றும் சனிக்கிழமைகளில் இரவு 09.00 மணிக்கு புறப்பட்டு மறுநாள் அதிகாலை 04.15 மணிக்கு கன்னியாகுமரி சென்று சேரும். மறுமார்க்கத்தில் கன்னியாகுமரி – ராமேஸ்வரம் வாரம் மும்முறை சேவை அதிவிரைவு ரயில் (22622) கன்னியாகுமரியில் இருந்து செவ்வாய் வியாழன் மற்றும் ஞாயிற்றுக்கிழமைகளில் இரவு 10.15 மணிக்கு புறப்பட்டு அதிகாலை 05.35 மணிக்கு ராமேஸ்வரம் வந்து சேரும். ராமேஸ்வரம் – கன்னியாகுமரி ரயில் ராமநாதபுரம், பரமக்குடி, மானாமதுரை, மதுரை, விருதுநகர், திருநெல்வேலி, நாகர்கோவில் ஆகிய ரயில் நிலையங்களில் நின்று செல்லும். கன்னியாகுமரி – ராமேஸ்வரம் ரயில் நாகர்கோவில், வள்ளியூர், திருநெல்வேலி, விருதுநகர், மதுரை, மானாமதுரை, ராமநாதபுரம் ஆகிய ரயில் நிலையங்களில் நின்று செல்லும். இந்த ரயில்களில் 3 குளிர்சாதன மூன்றடுக்கு படுத்திய வசதி பெட்டிகள், 9 இரண்டாம் வகுப்பு படுக்கை வசதி பெட்டிகள், 4 இரண்டாம் வகுப்பு பொது பெட்டிகள், 2 மாற்றுத்திறனாளிகளுக்கான சிறப்பு பெட்டிகள் இணைக்கப்படும்.3. கொல்லம் – புனலூர் – கொல்லம் முன்பதிவில்லாத சிறப்பு ரயில் ஜூன் 22 முதல் இயக்கப்பட இருக்கிறது. அதன்படி கொல்லம் – புனலூர் முன்பதிவில்லாத சிறப்பு ரயில் (06666) கொல்லத்தில் இருந்து மாலை 05.30 மணிக்கு புறப்பட்டு மாலை 06.55 மணிக்கு புனலூர் வந்து சேரும். மறுமார்க்கத்தில் புனலூர் – கொல்லம் முன்பதிவில்லாத சிறப்பு ரயில் (06661) புனலூரில் இருந்து இரவு 07.45 மணிக்கு புறப்பட்டு இரவு 09.05 மணிக்கு கொல்லம் சென்று சேரும். இந்த ரயில்கள் அவனீஸ்வரம், குறி, கொட்டாரக்கரா, எழுகோன், குன்டரா கிழக்கு, குன்டரா, சந்தன தோப்பு, கிளிகொல்லூர் ஆகிய ரயில் நிலையங்களில் நின்று செல்லும்.
